Passport to Midland
Mark your calendars for October 5 & 6! Our family has really enjoyed Midland's "Be a Tourist in your Town" weekend for several years and this year, it's been renamed but is sure to be just as fun. The Midland Chamber of Commerce does an awesome job with this event! Here's how it works: you download or pick up a passport (details here) and visit as many of the destination locations as possible. That alone is fun, but even better, when you visit six or more locations and have them marked off your passport, you can turn your passport in to be entered in a drawing. The grand prize this year is an overnight stay and breakfast for two at the H, and there are other prizes as well. It's a fun weekend and almost entirely free. Check it out!

Featured Activity: Disc Golf
All you need is a disc (or frisbee) and a little info and your group or family can have a great time at one of Midland's fun activities! The Chippewa Banks Disc Golf course is fun for kids and adults alike! I'd personally recommend this activity for ages upper elementary and older, but if you walk the course you'll get an idea of whether your kids can handle it or not - and if you're hungry, now's the time of year for a mulberry snack from the trees along the course.
Bring your own discs, and have a great time!

Welcome!
You're planning your week, or month, or trying to find activities for a visit from friends. Google searches for "what to do in Midland, MI" give you obscure results or links to many activities that cost well over your budgeted amount. You know there are free activities and cool events, but you're just not sure how to find when and where these events take place!
Hope this site can help! I'm still in the fledgling stage but there is a short list of local event calendars on the sidebar. Please contact me with additions and suggestions at midlandunderten@gmail.com
